The Coaching Process

How it works
- We work together over the telephone, usually on a weekly or fortnightly basis
- Each session lasts between 45 minutes to 1 hour
- I ask you to do some preparation before each session, using a set of questions which are designed to get you ready to make the most of our time together
- During each session we talk in a focused and positive way about the agreed topic for that week
- We discuss and plan the actions you will take
to move you towards your goals before our next session together
Forward looking
The coaching process is a forward-looking one. So the kind of issues I work with are:
- Getting clear and creative on the goals you'd like to work towards
- Creating and managing a very practical plan of action that leads you, step by step, to the fulfilment of your creative goals
- Decluttering your life and creating the space in which those creative goals can become a reality
- Raising your self awareness so you can more effectively move towards your true goals
- Exploring and managing the blocks that spring up for you along the way
If there are issues in your past which repeatedly block you from moving forward, please be aware that it is not appropriate to deal with these through the coaching process.
Timescale
Coaching isn't a quick fix, and although you will probably feel much lighter as soon as you begin, the real benefits usually start to emerge further into the process. So I encourage you to make a minimum 4 month commitment.
